Pupil Premium Information

The Pupil Premium fund is allocated for each school to decide how best to support children from low-income families and children whose parents are currently serving in the armed services.

The current level of the premium is £1385 per pupil for pupils eligible at any point in the last 6 years for free school meals (FSM) and for pupils in care who have been continuously looked after for six months.  Local authorities are responsible for looked after children in care (LAC) and make payments to schools where an eligible looked after child is on roll.

The premium for children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces has been set at £320 for 22-23 and is designed to address the emotional and social well-being of these pupils.

For children adopted from care the allocation is £2410.

Marlborough School’s Pupil Premium for 2022-2023 is £37,120.  It has been allocated to support the needs of children identified by the school through a range of provision as detailed in the Pupil Premium Statement below.
